Our Review of the Wahii Water Slide
Parents have always one dilemma when it comes to hosting birthday parties: how to make it fun and top the party held last year.
Finding a new thing to do isn’t always easy; however, you can always create an “updated” version of what you did last time. If you held a pool party for your kid last year (in which I’m sure all the guests had a blast), why don’t you go for a “slide” party this year? With the help of the Wahii Water Slide, I’m sure everybody would be talking about your child’s birthday party for the days to come.
The Wahii Water Slide is the world’s biggest backyard water slide! It comes in both 50 and 75 feet versions so you can choose whichever fits your place best.
Here’s how it works: place the water slide down a hill (a 4-5 ft drop should do it though) and keep it in place by using the stakes and duct tapes which comes with the package. Place the sprinkler at the top, turn the water on and get ready for hours of endless fun!
The slide is made up of thick, specially formulated UV protected plastic. It makes the slide’s surface super smooth so users can slide down easily. It can hold up to 256 lbs per foot which means several people can go down at the same time. Setting up takes around 15 minutes (yes, it’s that huge) and the same with taking it down.
Let’s take a look at the World’s Biggest Backyard Water Slide features:
- Kids love it! See the Wahii video on YouTube!
- 75ft long x 12ft wide.
- Initial set-up takes approximately 15 minutes… the slide is huge!
- The Wahii is constructed of thick specially formulated, UV protected plastic. Surface is extremely smooth and rated to hold 256lbs per square foot!
- Perfect for birthday parties.
This product has very great reviews everywhere, which says a lot on how great it is. Just a few tips though, don’t wear any jewelry or clothes with buttons or zippers which may tear the slide. Also, prepare for a stretch of dead grass if you leave the slide out for too long.
The only thing that I don’t like about this product is that it’s highly addicting. Prepare for guests to use it for hours, since it’s more interesting to use it at night. Just make sure that there are no rocks or anything rough under the slide and you can use it for a thousand more days.
Below are some comments about the Wahii Water Slide product from customers:
We ordered the 75 ft version because we thought we had enough space for it… turns out we didn’t but it wasn’t a problem, we just folded the end and we were good to go. we don’t have a very steep hill in our yard, not really a hill either, lol. what we do have is about a 3-4 ft drop along approximately 50 ft of our lawn (small slope more like it). we set the hose up at the top of the slope and left it there. with a running start we would make all the way down, pretty fast too. it was very easy for the kids to get the hang of it and they had a blast. the wahii provided great fun for our memorial day bbq (adults and kids). the one piece of advice i do have is to be very careful with your lawn. we were having soooo much fun we left the wahii set up for about a week and it killed the lawn at the bottom of the slope because the water was pooling there. this was my fault not the slide’s fault. the rest of the lawn browned up a bit but i’m sure it will make it.
the wahii is very easy to set up and to put away, neither should take more than 20 minutes.
another piece of advice: dont were jewelry or clothing with buttons or zippers that protude. these items may tear your slide.
P.S. to go super fast cut three holes in a large garbage bag (arms and head) you’ll slide down twice as fast…remember though, twice the risk…

We bought the Wahii WaterSlide 75 for our daugters 11yr birthday party here in Nashville, TN last month. The KIDS LOVED IT! We had 20 or so girls (and a few boys) playing on the Wahii for over 4 hours. Best old fashion fun for the money, and much easier than the Banzai Inflatable slide we bought two years ago for $575.
It was easy to setup. My husband and a neighbor did it in about 15 minutes like the instuctions call for. The Zulu-Stick Fasteners worked perfectly. The birthday party was a super success! Thank you Wahii WaterSlides!
ps – we’ve used the slide 3x since and it still looks brand new. The slide is very durable.

Hey…all I have to say is that the kids loved this slide!! We have had 3 other “blow-up” slides…the Banzai ones and let me tell you, our kids had more fun on the Wahii than any of those other, much more expensive and cumbersome slides!!! Set up was simple and had no problems what-so-ever with it. Some of the Zulu-Stiks did come off…just like the manufacturer tells you in the instructions. They are designed to release to prevent the slide from tearing. I would rather have to re-do a couple of the Zulu’s than have the slide tear. This mainly happened because the kids would jump on parts of the slide that didn’t have quite enough water on it. Speaking of water…there were puddles that formed at the bottom and in the grass, but I was pumping water on it for over 2 hours…am I missing something or do you have to kinda expect that??? No tears, rips or punctures…even though the kids were running up the slide… no matter how many times I told them to run up in the grass.
As a side note and bonus…after over two hours of sliding and running back up the hill, the kids were so worn out that they all went to bed an hour early!! That in itself is worth the money.
