Our Review of the Giant Waterslide Dragstrip
Just as its name implies, the Giant Waterslide Dragstrip manufactured by Hammacher is in indeed huge. Compared to other waterslides, this may look simpler. This one does not have any bend to boast and no other feature other bumps in the slide. What it does prides itself though is it’s, something that can really leave the kids with their mouths open with excitement. One clear advantage it has is that it has a dual waterslide. This means that the kids do not have wait for each other’s turn too often because two of them can actually slide down the pool simultaneously.
The Giant Waterslide Dragstrip is about 21’ and can be sprawling enough when placed in the lawn. Each of the waterslides has spray nozzles which ensures that this is wet enough the kids to slide smoothly into the foot-deep pool. Before hitting the water though, the kids will also come to encounter bumps in the waterslide, which delays the slide a bit and make it more enjoyable. Parents do not have to worry about their kids getting into accidents on their way up the slide because this has durable nylon holds for a safe climb.
With an AC powered electric pump, this waterslide can be inflated in a matter of just three minutes. This is made of PVC covered with a special fabric, which guarantees its users of durability and effectiveness. Proving its durability, the slide can actually bear a weight of a maximum of 400 lbs. Therefore, not only kids 5 years old and above can enjoy it. Even parents and other adults can certainly join the kids in having fun in the giant waterslide.
There are not many comments about the downsides of this waterslide. The few negative comments are basically similar to those other waterslide brands such as PVCs being torn by sharp objects. For those who are not contented by straight slides though, this may not be the right choice.
